Our Bicycles

We offer two categories of bicycles that you can choose when touring in Vietnam: classic one speed push bikes and imported mountain bikes.

The classic road bikes are push bikes that are only used in flat areas and short bicycle tours such as Hanoi city tour by bicycle, Hanoi countryside bike tour, a day cycling to Thay and Tay Phuong pagoda, a day bicycle tour to Duong Lam ancient village, a day trip to Tam Coc, cycling Hoa Lu Tam Coc or Tam Coc Kenh Ga…

We used the push bikes for the tours we customized for amateur cyclists, for those who would like to have more fun when they visit the above sights. The tours are the most suitable for family travel or traveling with kids.

We use the mountain bikes for long bicycle tours or short tours that have several hours cycling. The cycling distance should be at least 25 kilometer per day. Most of our mountain bikes are trek bikes having 24 speeds. All these bikes are imported from the Trek Bike company. The most popular tours where we use these mountain bikes are Sapa mountain biking tours, Bac Ha bicycle tours, Cycling Mai Chau and Tam Coc three days, cycling Hue to Hoian, cycling along the central cost or cycling in the Mekong delta.

The mountain bikes have different sizes that are suitable for everyone (10 – 23). The most popular bike size for touring start from 16 to 21. The bikes will be chosen depending on Lotussia Travel guest’s height. So please do not forget to inform your travel consultant when you book a challenging bike tour.

We also have small bikes for kids. These bikes are tied with the adult bikes while pedaling. It will be easier and safer for the kids to pedal.
