Just two hour drive from Yangon is Bago, formerly known as Pegu. Bago was the capital of the Mon Kingdom of Lower Myanmar in the 15th century and is one of the most interesting cities in Myanmar.
The sightseeing tour of this town includes the colossal reclining Buddha of Shwethalyaung, the pagoda of Shwemawdaw, the four giant Buddha images at Kyaikpon Pagoda and the old Palace of Kamboza Thadi. We also a and before taking a walk around the vibrant and colorful central market. We also take a walk exploring around the colourful Bago Market and drive back to Yangon. On the way, we make stop over at at the Allied War Cemetery near Htaukkyan and the woven bamboo factory. The trip ends after arrival in Yangon.
