Day 01: Arrival in Hanoi

You will be met up at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi by Lotussia local guide and driver then transferred to your hotel in town. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Relax at your hotel to recover after a long flight or discover Hanoi by yourselve. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 02: Hanoi - Ba Cat Beach

After breakfast, we starts four-hour drive to Ha Long City stopping on the way for some light refreshments and local hospitality. Upon arrival in Halong city we take a boat for a cruise in the stunning Halong Bay. Your fresh local seafood lunch will be provided on board. Our destination for today is the deserted beach of Ba Cat. Arriving around four p.m. we set up camp for the night before having a few hours spare to get accustomed to our Kayaking equipment and get a sample of what to expect from this World Heritage Listed area.

Day 03: Ba Cat Beach - Nam Cat Beach

After breakfast, we break our camp and load our camping equipment and personal effects onto the support vessel, before paddling to Nam Cat Beach. On the way, we will visit some of the many lagoons for swimming and relaxing. Arriving around lunchtime, we set up camp and have lunch. The afternoon is free then to explore the surrounding area before returning to camp for the evening meal and relaxing.

Day 04: Nam Cat Beach - Titop Island

After a hearty breakfast we break camp, load all the camping equipment onto the support vessel and then have approximately 3 hours of paddling to reach Titop island. After arriving at Titop Island we will board our support vessel for lunch, and then, for those who wish, we can do some more exploration of the area around the island. Tonight our cooks will prepare the evening meal on board where we will also spend the night.

Day 05: Quan Lan Island

Following breakfast we weigh anchor and cruise the emerald waters of Halong Bay aboard the support vessel. Around lunchtime we arrive at one of the most beautiful, untouched islands in Halong Bay. Quan Lan island. A scrumptious, fresh, local seafood lunch will be served on board before going ashore and setting up camp for the night. For those who still yearn activity and exercise there is the chance to once again explore the surrounding area by Kayak. If lazing around on an isolated beach, with a good book, and working on your tan is more your scene, then this is the place for you.

After a sleep in or an early morning stroll along the beach there will be free time for swimming or kayaking. This afternoon we will visit a fishing village and meet the people who live here for an insight into local customs and cultures. This will be an interesting experience for both parties as these people have rare contact with foreigners. Tonight we spend a second night at our beach camp.

Day 07: Ha Long City – Hai Phong

After breakfast we break our camp and load all the equipment onto the support vessel and bid our isolated island paradise farewell. Today we have a cruise on the support vessel back to Halong City where we will meet again our vehicle to transfer us to our hotel in Hai Phong. This evening we will dine at a local restaurant.

Kayaking Tips
Sea kayaking conjures up all kinds of wonderful images. And none of them can capture the experience of actually being out on the water in a solid boat with your spouse or a group of good friends at your side. A sea kayak is a wonderfully nimble and seaworthy craft capable of taking you places that larger boats wouldn't even attempt.
