Trip to the Southern Vietnam Travel Saigon Mui Ne Can Tho Chau Doc Phnom Penh

Day 1: Arrive Ho Chi Minh city (Saigon). Half day excursion to Cu Chi tunnels.

Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh city (flight ???), you will be greeted at the airport by Lotussia Travel guide, driver and transferred to your hotel in town for check-in.

After lunch (not included in the package), enjoy a pleasant drive through typical southern Vietnamese countryside to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. After visiting the tunnels, go back to Ho Chi Minh city.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 2: Drive to Phan Thiet (Mui Ne). Beach resort (B).

Breakfast at hotel. Then travel to Phan Thiet. The fantastic 200km drive northward will cut through the bustle city of Bien Hoa-Dong Nai Before running through dense forests of rubber trees. When closer to Phan Thiet terrains will give way to arid semi desert with cactus plants and gardens full of dragon fruit trees with their extremely strange shape. Upon arrival in Phan Thiet, check in hotel then spend the rest of the day relaxing at the resort's pool os on the the sandy beach.

Overnight in Mui Ne, Phan Thiet.

Day 3: Mui Ne beach resort (B).

Full day free at leisure to enjoy the prime beach of Phan Thiet or just relax on the hotel/resort poolside or enjoy a half day optional golf package (www.vietnamgolfcourse.com). Other optional beach activities can be also arranged on the spot with the resort.

Overnight in Phan Thiet.

Day 4: Return to Saigon. Half day sightseeing tour (B).

Check out hotel and return to Ho Chi Minh city.

In the afternoon, our guide will meet you up at your hotel. Enjoy a half day city tour with Ho Chi Minh City highlights including the Post Office, cathedral, Reunification palace, centre town, then continuation towards Cho Lon, visit Thien Hau temple, Binh Tay market.

Overnight inHo Chi Minh city.

Day 5: Travel Can Tho (Mekong delta). Boat trip along the way (B,L).

After breakfast, departing Saigon head south to Cai Be. On arrival at 10.30 , boarding a boat for a journey through the town’s floating market. See how river life goes on, trading between merchant ships and local farmers. Cruise through a secluded canals and over the Mighty Mekong to island where we stop to enjoy seasonal fruits before our boat takes us to VinhLong where we get back on the bus for our trip to CanTho.

Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 6: Can Tho - Chau Doc (B,L).

Enjoy a boat trip on the Mekong river to visit Cai Rang, the famous floating market in the west of Viet Nam, along narrow waterways through the lush vegetation to an orchard garden where we have the opportunity to visit local homes.  Disembarking and having lunch in local  restaurant (included).

After lunch, transfer to Chau Doc. Check-in hotel. Then, visit the Sam Mountain, the Tomb of Thoai Ngoc Hau, the foundator of Chau Doc area. Ba Chua Xu pagoda is a famous place with a legend for popular people. Overnight in Chau Doc.

Day 7: Chau Doc - Phnom. Departure (B).

Transfer to Chau Doc pier where you will take speed boat to Phnom Penh.

Arrive in Phnom Penh around 13:00. You will be greeted by Lotussia Travel local team and transferred to town for a quick tour of Cambodia capital – Phnom Penh starting with the National Museum, then Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda.

Transfer to Phnom Penh airport for a short flight to Siem Reap. End trip.
