Day 01: Arrival in Hanoi

On arrival at Hanoi Noi Bai International airport, you will be greeted by Lotussia local guide, driver and transferred to your hotel in town. O/N in Hanoi.

Day 02: Hanoi City tour

This full day tour takes you around Hanoi's most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his Stilts House, Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda nearby, and the Old Quarter also known as the 36 streets and guilds. Also on the tour - the Lake of the Restored Sword and Ngoc Son Temple, the Temple of Literature, peaceful West Lake with lovers street Thanh Nien, the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple and one of the city's museums, either the History Museum or the Ethnology Museum. In the evening enjoy a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. O/N in Hanoi.

Day 03: Ha Noi - Mai Chau

We depart Hanoi and head west towards Hoa Binh City where we stop for refreshments and coffee. Leaving Hoa Binh we climb towards the Mai Chau valley, about another 1,5 hours away, stopping on the way to take in the spectacular scenery. Following lunch in Mai Chau town we stroll around stunning villages of Thai people. Our hosts for this evening will be the White Thai minority people and we will stay in one of their traditional stilt houses. There, we will be toasted as honored guests and will be able to sample some of their homemade rice wine! In sampling these peoples hospitality, we will discover a little more about their lives and culture following the evening meal. Tonight's accommodation will probably be a little more rustic than you would be used to.

Day 04: Mai Chau - Ninh Binh

Following breakfast we stroll around the village and drive on the scenic road to go to Ninh Binh. The beautiful region is often referred to Halong Bay on land. Stay in our hotel.

Day 05: Ninh Binh - Thai Binh - Hai Phong

Following the breakfast and drive to Hoa Lu, we spend one hour visiting the Dinh and Le sanctuaries and then move on to Tam Coc for a 3-hour boat trip along the Boi River. After lunch we visit Bich Dong Pagodas. We then drive to the colonial Haiphong city for overnight.

Day 06: Hai Phong - Halong Bay

This morning we leave Haiphong to the Halong City. Upon arriving in Ha Long City we transfer to our private boat for an amazing cruise of Halong Bay, and if nice weather in the summer, we have the opportunity for a swim in the crystalline emerald waters. The trip would not be complete without a sumptuous seafood lunch on board as we cruise. We also visit one beautiful limestone grottoes before making our way back to Hanoi Capital.

Day 07: Ha Noi - Hue

You are free at leisure until transfer to airport for your flight to ancient capital Hue. This afternoon we embark on a tour of Hue City including the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, the Imperial Museum and the Dong Ba market. O/N in Hue.

Day 08: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An

The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop of the day. Setting in the converge of rivers, and gives you a great view on the Perfume River and surrounding area. Thien Mu Pagoda which is considered the unofficial symbol of Hue, and Buddhism Centre in Centre Vietnam.
From here we will cruise further to the ornate Minh Mang's tomb. We will enjoy lunch on boat before getting out the Dragon boat. Leave the world Heritage Hue to Hoian, We will travel over the Hai Van pass, stop in Danang for a visit to Cham Museum and handicraft villages on the foot of Marble Mountain before arriving in Hoian. Once in Hoi An we will check into our hotel and have some free time to explore.

Day 09: Hoian - Da Nang - Nha Trang

You enjoy the free time until transfer to airport for your afternoon flight to Nha Trang. Pick up and transfer to hotel.

Day 10: Nha Trang

A relaxing day in Nha Trang and sampling some of Nha Trang's nightlife.

Day 11: Nha Trang - Ho Chi Minh (Saigon)

Transfer to airport for your flight to Saigon. You will be greeted at airport and transfer to hotel for check in. We embark on a city tour of Saigon including The Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, Remnant War Museum, Giac Lam Pagoda, China town with ancient pagodas and temples, and bustling Binh Tay Market.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh city (Saigon) - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh city

Leave Saigon to lush My Tho where we boat on a private boat to through the green vegetation of the canals to an orchard, where we are treated to a delicious lunch in bonsai garden in the heart of Mekong, complete with tropical fruits. We also visit the snake farm Dong Tam that breeds snakes for, among other things, snake wine and enjoy a bonsai garden in Trung Luong before heading back to Saigon.

Day 13: Ho Chi Minh city - Cu Chi tunnels - Cao Dai temples - Ho Chi Minh city

8:00 am pick up at hotel, this morning we drive to Cao Dai Temples in Tay Ninh to observe the midday service. Following lunch we will drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels and then return to Saigonat around 6 pm.

Day 14: Departure from Ho Chi Minh (Saigon)

No activities are planned for today. You will be transferred to airport for you onward flight. End tour.
