Day 01 (Thursday): Ha Noi - Lao Cai

Depart at 8.30pm from your hotel. Overnight on train.

Day 02 (Friday): Lao Cai - Sa Pa - Soft Trek

Arrive at Lao Cai train station at about 6.30am. 2.5hrs bus trip 40km to Sapa. Free time to visit Sapa town. In the afternoon, 2hrs trekking 5km to visit Cat Cat Village, home of Black H’mong hill tribe. Meeting & Talking with locals to learn more about their daily life.

Day 03 (Saturday): Sapa - Can Cau - Bac Ha

Start early in the morning at 6a.m, driving to Can Cau market, which passing Bac Ha Town. The road between Bac Ha and Can Cau is hilly but very beautiful. The products at the market are interesting, and many different groups of ethic minority people represent make the market an unforgettable experience. Back to Bac Ha for lunch. Check-in at a hotel in Bac Ha. After a rest, trekking about 5 km of mountain path to Ban Pho Village - home of  Flower H'Mong people, get in touch and witness their traditional life style,  habit and customs.

Day 04 (Sunday): Bac Ha - Lao Cai - Hanoi

After breakfast, take a car to Si Ma Cai Market - join in Si Ma Cai hill-tribe market and discover the daily life of Flower H'Mong, Red Dzao people. Back to Bac Ha Town, free time to visit Bac Ha Sunday Market before lunch time. Drive back to Lao Cai City. Dinner in Lao Cai and take a night train back to Hanoi.

Day 05: Arrival Hanoi

Arrive in Hanoi early morning. Meet up again by Lotussia guide and transfer to your hotel for (early) check in or transfer to airport for your onward flight.

Sapa is a small market town that has been a gathering spot for many local hilltribes for nearly 200 years. Hmong and Dao people, among others, still come here to conduct trade, socialize. Sapa, with its mercifully cool climate, became a holiday escape for French colonists, complete with rail connection, upscale hotels, and a tourist bureau as early as 1917.

Can Cau Market Tour
Although Can Cau is not a big market in the area but it is very beautiful, animated and colorful. The market is open only on Saturday. You will meet there several ethnic minorities such as Flower Hmong, Black Zao, Phu La as well as Chinese people. Another highlight is the boat trip along Chay River and a short walk to a Tay village.

Bac Ha Market is in Bac Ha District, Lao Cai Province; about 80km from downtown Sapa. It is a trading centre and meeting place for couples, friends, and relatives every Sunday.
