Day 01: Arrival in Hanoi

Welcome at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi by Lotussia local guide and transferred then to your hotel in town. The rest of the day is free at leisure to relax after a long flight. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 02: Hanoi – Babe Lakes

You will be picked up at your hotel at around 7h30am then depart for Ba Be lakes. Ba Be Lake in the northern province of Bac Kan is one of the most beautiful sceneries in Vietnam. It has been recognized as one of 20 unique freshwater lakes in the world. Lunch will be provided in Bac Kan town. Upon arrival in Ba Be lakes, checking in a local house on stilts of Tay people. Have dinner while enjoying traditional music and dances performances interpreted by local people of the village. Overnight on house in stilts.

Day 03: Babe Lakes – Na Hang – Bac Me – Ha Giang

Early wake up to enjoy the fresh air. Then take a short drive to reach Babe Lake boat pier from where you will take the 2 hours boat trip to admire the beautiful scenery, the natural waterfall of Dau Dau. After a short walk down to the waterfall, we start our trek to Na Hang lake. Lunch will be served by the waterfall or somewhere else advised by our guide on spot
After lunch we will take the boat again to cruise along the river till we reach Bac Me where our vehicle is ready to pick us up and transfer to Ha Giang. Dinner and overnight in Ha Giang. 

Day 04: Ha Giang full day Trek

Breakfast at local guesthouse then we get on the car departing for Cao Banh village where we begin our full day trek through many hill tribe villages. Picnic lunch will be provided on spot. Around late afternoon, we will arrive at Me village where we stop for overnight. Dinner and overnight at village.

Day 05: Ha Giang – Hoang Su Phi – Bac Ha

After having breakfast at local house, we start our trek back to the provincial road where our car will be waiting for us to drive us back town. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, have a short break in a local hot water spring where the relax is really meaningful after a whole day trek! Then we depart for Bac ha. Dinner and overnight in Bac Ha.

Day 06: Bac Ha – Cao Son – Sapa

After breakfast, we continue our trip by visiting a Tay village at Trung Do. The Tay are hospitable, open, friendly and talkative. They have respect for same-aged people. Once they have made friends with previous strangers, they consider them their next of kin. Then we take a boat to go up Chay River until we reach Coc Ly market. There, our car is again ready to take us to Cao son. Lunch will be provided in Cao Son. In the afternoon, visit one more local village before going up to Sapa. Dinner and overnight in Sapa.

Day 07: Sapa – Laocai – Hanoi

Spend whole morning to explore Sapa with a short walk to Sapa market and Ham Rong mountain. Lunch in town. In the afternoon, continue our journey with a soft trek to the Red Dzao village. The Dao mainly live from cultivation either on burnt-over land and in submerged fields. They also grow subsidiary crops. They still use rudimentary farm tools but apply many progressive techniques in cultivation. After three hours trek, we will reach Mong Son village where we take our car to go down to Lao Cai town. Have dinner in Lao Cai town before taking a night train back to Hanoi. Departure time is scheduled 20h30. Overnight on the train.

Day 08: Arrival in Hanoi - Transfer to airport

Arrive early in Hanoi. You will be met up by Lotussia local guide and transferred then to airport for your onward flight. End tour.
