Day 01: Hanoi – Mai Chau valley
You will be met up at your hotel by Lotussia local guide and driver. Then depart Hanoi for Hoa Binh province and the town of Mai Chau. This scenic drive takes around three hours. Along the way we pass fields of tapioca and sugar cane as well as rice paddies. Following lunch in a Thai village in Maichau we spend the afternoon walking through the various ethnic minority villages in this area. We spend the night with a local Thai family, who will be our hosts in a traditional house built on stilts.
Day 02: Mai Chau valley - Hanoi
After having breakfast in the stilt house of Thai people, this morning we have the opportunity to stroll around the village before we return to Hanoi. On the way back we will stop at a Muong village, before continuing onto Hoa Binh town for lunch. From Hoa Binh it is a 2-hour drive back to Hanoi. We will arrive in Hanoi around 16.00. End tour.
