08:30 – 08:50: Our friendly team will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi’s old quarter or at No. 34 Hoa Ma, Hai Ba Trung. We’ll be traveling in a comfortable bus.
12:00: Upon reaching No.34, Tuan Chau Marina, Quang Ninh, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the crew members of Mon Cheri Cruise.
12:30: Get ready to embark on an unforgettable journey as we transfer you to our luxurious Mon Cheri Cruise via our support vessel. During this time, we’ll provide you with an overview of the itinerary.
13:00: Indulge in welcome fresh drinks and refreshing towels as you settle in. Then, treat your taste buds to a special lunch featuring an array of fresh seafood and mouthwatering delicacies. Dining on our luxury junk is truly a remarkable experience. We’ll set sail towards Lan Ha Bay, a mesmerizing member of the World’s Most Beautiful Bays.
15:30: Prepare to be captivated by the stunning Tra Bau area, renowned for its untouched natural beauty and captivating seascape. This is the perfect opportunity for kayaking, allowing you to immerse yourself in the breathtaking limestone islands. Alternatively, you can relax and unwind in the Jacuzzi pool on Mon Cheri Cruises, or take a refreshing swim in the emerald green waters of the bay.
17:30 – 18:30: Join us for a fun and informative cooking demonstration, where you’ll learn the secrets behind crafting delicious Vietnamese spring rolls, one of the country’s iconic dishes. 21:00 – 22:00: Treat yourself to a range of exotic cocktails and drinks at our sky bar (additional charges apply), where you can unwind and soak in the ambiance. For the ultimate relaxation, you can indulge in our spa services (optional) or simply find a comfortable spot on the top deck, under the beautifully illuminated sky. And if you’re up for some excitement, join us for squid fishing on the main deck, where you might just catch a squid or two.
Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Tuan Chau – Hanoi.
6:00 AM: Begin your day on a revitalizing note with a Tai Chi session, embracing the serene beauty of the rising sun on the horizon.
6:45 AM – 7:15 AM: Delight in a satisfying breakfast while we cruise back to Gia Luan jetty. Please note that the exact breakfast timing may vary based on the real itinerary.
7:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Embark on an intriguing excursion to Cat Ba World Biosphere by transshipment. A 30-minute transfer from Gia Luan takes you to Trung Trang, a mesmerizing cave renowned for its impressive limestone formations and a fascinating cave ecosystem teeming with thousands of enchanting stalactites.
9:30 AM: Return to the main boat from the cave and complete the cabin check-out process. Please ensure that your luggage is placed outside your cabin.
Indulge in a delectable lunch served at the restaurant, and settle any outstanding bar bills at the designated desk, if applicable.
10:30 AM – 11:00 AM: Disembark from the Mon Cheri Cruises and be comfortably transferred back to Block #34, Big Bay group terminal at Tuan Chau Marina. Relax and patiently await the retrieval of your luggage.
11:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Gather at Tuan Chau Marina, as our team ensures all necessary arrangements are in place for your departure, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience.
Cruise itinerary and schedule are subject to change due to weather, tide levels and operating conditions. Swimming or kayaking excursions may be cancelled due to poor weather.
Meals on board are fusion. Vietnamese, seafood and international. Guest should advise of any special food reference, allergies or dietary requirement at least 1 week prior to the cruise date.

You can choose from Lan Ha Bay 1-day tour, Lan Ha Bay 2-day trips, or Lan Ha Bay 3-day cruise tour. You can stay on a shared boat or a private chartered cruise and explore the less crowded Lan Ha Bay. The itinerary above is just an example that we can customize to suit your preferences. Please note that while we operate successful trips in Vietnam throughout the year, some changes may occur in our itineraries due to inclement weather and common seasonal changes to timetables and transport routes. Our tour guides speak English or French. They hold a university degree in tourism and national license as a guide. If you wish to send a tour leader along with any group, he or she can fully rely on the knowledge and experience of our local guides.
Remote treks are always accompanied by a local representative to deal with permits and authorities and manage the porter team. They speak the local dialects, know the cultural traditions and give tips on suggested behavior in fragile ecological areas and tribal communities. For some itineraries, the role of tour leader and representative is combined.
Our drivers don’t speak English. It’s possible that a few of them might know some basic words, such as telling time, stop, and lunch. If you’re looking for effective communication throughout the journey, we highly recommend booking a tour guide.
Principally, Lotussia Travel requires all the trip associates to know the destinations well by any means of traveling or enquiry to the local suppliers to figure out all the relative details of any trip. For adventure tours such as jungle trekking, mountain hiking, sea kayaking, river rafting or biking, cycling tours, Lotussia Travel will never add any new routes into available schedule until survey or pre-view it.
Lotussia Travel carefully choose all the hotels, guest-houses or home-stays based on service quality, location, and characteristics, doing best to make the accommodations in the remote small places as comfortable as possible. Please bear in mind that hotels in Vietnam might not be in the same standard in other country. Generally hotels in major cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city, Hoian, Hue…are much better than hotels and guest-houses in mountainous areas.
Lotussia Travel take dinning as an indispensable experience to clients since it is an important part in Vietnamese culture. Therefore, Lotussia Travel will not intend take clients to the most expensive restaurants but non-touristy local ones which offer delicious, local food, with nice or interesting atmosphere. The restaurants might be simple in the country but LOTUSSIA Travel guarantee is sanitary and cleanliness. Or even on our trek, we encourage our cook offer client food with new tastes from day to day. During adventure itineraries to mountainous or remote areas, there is sometimes no choice for hotel and restaurants. We will try our best to bring you the best taste of local food.
As the tap water in Vietnam is undrinkable, Lotussia Travel recommend clients to drink bottled water throughout your trip, or boiled water on treks. Lotussia Travel offers bottle water all the day, and soft drinks like Cola, Sprite or Vietnamese Tea or if possible juice in restaurants (if mentionned in itinerary). This is not automatically included in the packages. In simple restaurant or on camping, Lotussia Travel offers boiled water, instant coffee or juice, wrapped milk (Details are confirmed in bottom of your itinerary).
In most destinations of Vietnam, all the roads are well paved though the traffic is quite messed up like in Hanoi, Hai Phong… We use proper vehicles, car, minibus or coach in good condition based on the size of the groups. We use 4WD only on the rough road where the other vehicles could not pass through or based on clients requirement on overland journeys or treks. For cycling itineraries, we usually use our support minibus or minibus with support truck. For sea kayaking, river rafting trips, diving packages we use standard boat as support. We use drivers who are native or local of each travel destination and maintain good safety records for all trips. Most of our drivers can speak English but a little bit. This is just enough to understand basic words such as “time of departure”, “stop”, “restaurants”, “hotels”…If you want to learn more about Vietnamese culture and information about sightseeing sites, booking a tour guide is highly recommended.
