08:30 AM: Your day begins with a comfortable hotel pickup from Hanoi Old Quarter, where our friendly team will transfer you to Ha Long Bay. Sit back, relax, and take in the stunning landscapes of the Red River Delta as we make our way to this enchanting destination. (This service is exclusively available for guests who have booked the limousine van or shuttle bus.)
11:30 AM: Upon arrival at Lot 32 – Tuan Chau Marina, we will guide you through the check-in procedures at the welcoming lounge. As a gesture of hospitality, you’re invited to indulge in a special tea at the lounge, providing a warm and pleasant start to your journey.
12:15 PM: Board a comfortable feeder boat that will take you to Orchid Cruises. Step on board and be greeted with refreshing welcome drinks. We’ll gather at the restaurant, where you’ll receive a cruise briefing and important safety instructions to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
1:00 PM: As we set sail, treat yourself to a delicious lunch while we navigate the remarkable Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay, both recognized as New Seven Wonders of Nature. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking scenery and let the beauty of the surroundings captivate you.
2:15 PM: Our next destination is Trung Trang cave, situated on Cat Ba Island within the heart of Cat Ba National Park. Surrounded by the lush Kim Giao Forest, this mystical cave spans 300 meters and boasts fascinating geological formations shaped over millions of years. Prepare to be amazed by its unique beauty and numerous historical remnants, including an array of awe-inspiring stalactites that will spark your imagination.
5:30 PM: As Orchid Cruises ventures into the tranquil and less crowded area of Tra Bau in Lan Ha Bay, take the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing swim in the emerald-green waters. Feel the invigorating embrace of the sea and soak up the serenity of the surroundings.
6:00 PM: Join our engaging cooking demonstration and learn the secrets of Vietnamese cuisine as our skilled chefs showcase their techniques. Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Tuan Chau – Hanoi.
6:30 AM: It’s the perfect time to rejuvenate and immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the bay with a tai chi session on the sundeck. If you’re an early riser and want to witness the magic of dawn, we recommend waking up between 5:30 to 6:00 AM, depending on the season. Our friendly sailors are available to provide guidance and assist you during this enchanting experience.
7:00 AM: Join us at the restaurant for a delicious breakfast as we continue our cruise. Relish in a delightful meal while enjoying the uninterrupted views of the surrounding scenery.
7:45 AM: Embark on an exciting kayaking adventure in the captivating Ao Ech area. Discover the hidden charms of Ha Long – Lan Ha Bay as you navigate through its pristine waters. Let the serenity of the bay unfold before your eyes, revealing its breathtaking landscapes.

11:30 AM: Prepare to disembark Orchid Cruises at Tuan Chau Marina, where we bid you farewell and extend our best wishes. It’s time to conclude your cruise with us, and we sincerely hope you’ve created lasting memories to cherish.
2:30 PM: Return to your designated drop-off point in Hanoi, marking the end of your trip. We sincerely appreciate your choice to travel with us and hope to welcome you back for more remarkable adventures in the future.
Cruise itinerary and schedule are subject to change due to weather, tide levels and operating conditions. Swimming or kayaking excursions may be cancelled due to poor weather.
Meals on board are fusion. Vietnamese, seafood and international. Guest should advise of any special food reference, allergies or dietary requirement at least 1 week prior to the cruise date.
Lan Ha bay cruise tours
Lotussia Travel is a local tour operator that offers a variety of cruise tours in Lan Ha Bay, Vietnam. You can choose from Lan Ha Bay 1-day tour, Lan Ha Bay 2-day trips, or Lan Ha Bay 3-day cruise tour. You can stay on a shared boat or a private chartered cruise and explore the less crowded Lan Ha Bay. The itinerary above is just an example that we can customize to suit your preferences. Occasionally our tour itineraries are updated during the year to incorporate improvements stemming from past travelers’ comments and our own research. The information given in this itinerary may be slightly different to that in the service proposal. Please note that while we operate successful trips in Vietnam throughout the year, some changes may occur in our itineraries due to inclement weather and common seasonal changes to timetables and transport routes. This can happen with little notice so please be prepared for modifications to the route. The order and timing of included activities in each location may also vary from time to time.
Depending on the proposed option (semi-guide tour or all-inclusive package tour), the price may include the following services. Please bear in mind Lotussia Travel is specialized in tailor-made trips. Trip cost vary depending on group size and other details.

Our tour guides speak English or French. They hold a university degree in tourism and national license as a guide. If you wish to send a tour leader along with any group, he or she can fully rely on the knowledge and experience of our local guides.
Remote treks are always accompanied by a local representative to deal with permits and authorities and manage the porter team. They speak the local dialects, know the cultural traditions and give tips on suggested behavior in fragile ecological areas and tribal communities. For some itineraries, the role of tour leader and representative is combined.
Our drivers don’t speak English. It’s possible that a few of them might know some basic words, such as telling time, stop, and lunch. If you’re looking for effective communication throughout the journey, we highly recommend booking a tour guide.
Principally, Lotussia Travel requires all the trip associates to know the destinations well by any means of traveling or enquiry to the local suppliers to figure out all the relative details of any trip. For adventure tours such as jungle trekking, mountain hiking, sea kayaking, river rafting or biking, cycling tours, Lotussia Travel will never add any new routes into available schedule until survey or pre-view it.
Lotussia Travel carefully choose all the hotels, guest-houses or home-stays based on service quality, location, and characteristics, doing best to make the accommodations in the remote small places as comfortable as possible. Please bear in mind that hotels in Vietnam might not be in the same standard in other country. Generally hotels in major cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city, Hoian, Hue…are much better than hotels and guest-houses in mountainous areas.
Lotussia Travel take dinning as an indispensable experience to clients since it is an important part in Vietnamese culture. Therefore, Lotussia Travel will not intend take clients to the most expensive restaurants but non-touristy local ones which offer delicious, local food, with nice or interesting atmosphere. The restaurants might be simple in the country but LOTUSSIA Travel guarantee is sanitary and cleanliness. Or even on our trek, we encourage our cook offer client food with new tastes from day to day. During adventure itineraries to mountainous or remote areas, there is sometimes no choice for hotel and restaurants. We will try our best to bring you the best taste of local food.
As the tap water in Vietnam is undrinkable, Lotussia Travel recommend clients to drink bottled water throughout your trip, or boiled water on treks. Lotussia Travel offers bottle water all the day, and soft drinks like Cola, Sprite or Vietnamese Tea or if possible juice in restaurants (if mentionned in itinerary). This is not automatically included in the packages. In simple restaurant or on camping, Lotussia Travel offers boiled water, instant coffee or juice, wrapped milk (Details are confirmed in bottom of your itinerary).
In most destinations of Vietnam, all the roads are well paved though the traffic is quite messed up like in Hanoi, Hai Phong… We use proper vehicles, car, minibus or coach in good condition based on the size of the groups. We use 4WD only on the rough road where the other vehicles could not pass through or based on clients requirement on overland journeys or treks. For cycling itineraries, we usually use our support minibus or minibus with support truck. For sea kayaking, river rafting trips, diving packages we use standard boat as support. Detailed information is provided on our service proposal.
We use drivers who are native or local of each travel destination and maintain good safety records for all trips. Most of our drivers can speak English but a little bit. This is just enough to understand basic words such as “time of departure”, “stop”, “restaurants”, “hotels”…If you want to learn more about Vietnamese culture and information about sightseeing sites, booking a tour guide is highly recommended.
Halong bay cruises
Inclement weather, tide levels and operating conditions at sea may force changes in cruise itinerary and schedule at any time. Kayaking and swimming excursion, in particularly, may be canceled due to rough weather.
The cruise offer fusion cuisine: international, seafood and Vietnamese. Please advise our reservation team at least one (01) week ahead of departure about any specific food preference, dietary or food allergies.
Port authority insists on advance registration including full name, gender, date of birth, nationality and passport number. At check-in, a valid passport is required. Port authority may deny boarding if these conditions are not met.
Free Wifi available on terrace deck, but note that the internet signal at sea suffers frequent interruption.
