Binh Phuoc Vietnam or Binh Phuoc province is located in the southern Vietnam. The province is surrounded by Cambodia on the north and north-west, Dak Nong and Lam Dong provinces on the east, Dong Nai and Binh Duong provinces on the south and Tay Ninh Province on the west.

The provincial strengths are industrial plants such as cashew, pepper, rubber, cocoa, with total area of 391,174 ha, of which the cashew and rubber trees still play the role of national capital. There are currently 28 industrial parks with total area of 5,211 ha, concentrating in districts of Chon Thanh, Hon Quan, Dong Phu, Dong Xoai Town, and an international border economic zone of Hoa Lu in Loc Ninh District with a total area of over 28,300 ha.

The main ethnic groups living in that province are the Kinh, Xtieng, Hoa, Khmer, Tay and Nung. The interesting traditional festivals are Xtieng’s praying for rain, New Rice Festival of the M’Nong, leaving the tomb.

When to visit?

Binh Phuoc is located on in a specific region with tropical and cross-equatorial monsoon climate. The average temperature is from 25.8oC to 26.2oC. The temperature reaches its highest level (from 37-37.2oC) in March, April and May and its lowest level (19oC) in December. Abundant sunshine: the total amount of sunshine in a year is from 2,400 to 2,500 hours.

The annual average rainfall fluctuates from 2,045 to 2,325 mm. Rainy season lasts from May to November. Dry season lasts from December of the previous year to April.

What to explore in Binh Phuoc?

Binh Phuoc has many potential landscapes and vestiges. They are Mo Waterfall, Ba Ra Mountain, Waterfall No. 4, Bau Lach grass field. The historic sites are Mien military committee, Loc Hoa and Loc Quang fuel dumps. The first communist party cell of Mekong Delta was born in Phu Rieng commune, Phuoc Long District.

Other famous sites to discover include Soc Xiem and Suoi Lam tourist areas, Bu Gia Map National Park, Bombo Village.
