Khuon Than Lake – Bac Giang

Khuon Than Lake is located Kien Lao commune, Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province, in the north east region of Vietnam. This is a great natural resources, providing irrigation water for horticultural development, and in recent years, under the hands of people building and preserving along with the donated products of nature, Khuon Than Lake has gradually been becoming an exciting natural excursion place.

Khuon Than consists of forests and lakes. The Khuon Than forest covers an area of about 800 hectares, including 300 hectares of natural forests and 500 hectares of planted forests, regenerating forests and grasslands. Khuon Than Lake is 240 hectares wide and surrounded by lush pine, indigo, and acacia mangium forests all year round.

The lake has five islets of the dome-shaped hills emerged in the middle of the blue water, the islets are planted with pine trees aged from 15 to 20 years. Khuon Than is also famous for its orchard farms that stretch as far as the eye can see.

Coming to Khuon Than, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the “Green Lung of Luc Ngan” with 5 islets of lush pine trees all year round, cruise on the lake and watch the sky clouds and mountains feeling the fresh, pure and quiet beauty of nature that will forget the anxiety of life in a moment.
