Ky Co Beach – Binh Dinh
Ky Co Beach is situated in Nhon Ly Commune, a 30-minute drive from downtown Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh province.
Visitors can take a taxi or rent a car. They are advised to walk along Phuong Mai Mountain to get to Ky Co Beach or ride a motorbike across sand dunes. Those in Eo Gio, a popular beach which is 20 minutes from Ky Co, can rent a boat to get to Ky Co.
From Eo Gio, it takes visitors about 30 minutes to travel by canoe to Ky Co beach. With crescent coastline, Ky Co has three sides adjacent to mountains and one side adjacent to the sea. The beach impresses visitors with pure water and smooth white sands.
Visitors can enjoy many near-shore natural swimming pools with capacity for 5-7 people created by multi-size rocks matching together and gorgeous caves appearing when the tide goes down.
There are some cottage tents on the beach offered by tour boats. Staff of those boats will show tourists how to see coral reefs. On the way back to the mainland, tourists can pass by Dua Beach to look at great colorful coral reefs and fish.
Visiting Eo Gio, visitors have opportunity to join various activities including diving and admiring coral reefs, fishing and enjoy specialties of Nhon Ly area such as shell-fish, abalone, lobster, squid, grouper, etc. Especially, visitors can go camping overnight on the beach and spend their time enjoying the beauty of the pristine beach by night.
The best time to visit Ky Co is summer.
