Lac Son district is located the northwest Vietnam, about 3 hour drive from Hanoi.
Lac Son district covers an area of 581 km2. It contains 1 township and 28 communes including Vu Ban, An Nghia, Binh Cang, Binh Chan, Binh Hem, Chi Dao, Chi Thien, Dinh Cu, Huong Nhuong, Lien Vu, Mien Doi, My Thanh, Ngoc Lau, Ngoc Son, Nhan Nghia, Phu Luong, Phuc Tuy, Quy Hoa, Tan Lap, Tan My, Thuong Coc, Tu Do, Tuan Dao, Van Nghia, Van Son, Vu Lam, Xuat Hoa, Yen Nghiep, and Yen Phu.
Getting to Lac Son
The best way to get to Lac Son from Hanoi is to rent a car with driver. You will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi and brought to Lac Son. There are also public buses from Hanoi to Lac Son. Booking a guided tour is highly recommended. An English-speaking guide will be helpful in a such off the beaten path place in Hoa Binh province Vietnam.
