Da Krong Quang Tri or Dakrong is a Vietnam rural district in the west of Quang Tri province. It is a name of an area graced with romantic and majestic mountain scenery. The Dakrong River, that inspired many epic and cultural legends, runs through the area.

Over the river shrouded in mist, stands the charming Da Krong Bridge. Waterways, mountains and forests stretch as far as the eye can see. Nearby, there is a precious natural mineral water source.

Da Krong was an important site on Ho Chi Minh Trail. Now National Road 9, the Trans-Asia Highway, passes through this site to the international border gate in Lao Bao – Den Sa Van.
