Dau Dang Waterfall is located 16km from the centre of Ba Be township, Ba Be district, Bac Kan province in the northeast Vietnam. The waterfall is an interesting place you should visit while cruising on Ba Be lake.

Dau Dang Waterfall Ba Be is located where the Nang River enters Tuyen Quang Province. It flows for 2km where the Nang river is blocked by various stones slopping for nearly 500m. The section of the Nang river between Puong cave and Dau Dang village offers a wonderful opportunity to view tropical limestone forest and numerous limestone formations. Keep your eyes open for birds, especially kingfishers and small forest species. The waterfall looks impressive amidst the primitive forest and luxuriant trees.

The Dau Dang waterfall Vietnam actually consists of different small waterfalls spreading over 1 km. There is small hamlet of 5 houses of the Tay minority near the waterfall. Take a boat trip from Pac Ngoi village, cruising on Ba Be Lake it will take you towards the waterfall. A short hike is more pleasant when it is combined with a visit to Hua Tang.

The waterfall is the most beautiful in summer, starting from June to late September Vietnam weather. This is also the rainy season in the northern Vietnam.
