Ha Giang City
Ha Giang City is the provincial capital of Ha Giang province that includes different districts and one major provincial capital.
A part from the town, Ha Giang province has 10 districts in total including Bac Me, Bac Quang, Dong Van, Hoang Su Phi, Meo Vac, Quan Ba, Quang Binh, Vi Xuyen, Xin Man, Yen Minh.
Most of travelers going to Ha Giang province will make their first stop in Ha Giang city where they can get Ha Giang permit is required for touring frontier region in Vietnam. The most popular route is going northeast towards Yen Minh, Dong Van, and Meo Vac where they can visit rustic villages, and meet up with colorful ethnic groups. The other route is to turn left, going towards Bac Ha. This later route offers beautiful treks with homestay experience.
